1.1 FETCH car sharing is offered by Fetch Mobility B.V. (hereinafter: FETCH car sharing), established at Vonderweg 24, 7468 ZJ in Enter, the Netherlands and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 72871237.

1.3 FETCH car sharing takes your privacy seriously. This statement is intended to inform you about the processing of your personal data in the context of your use of FETCH car sharing, your use of the FETCH car sharing website (hereinafter: Website), the FETCH car sharing App (hereinafter: App) and in connection with your communication with us.


1.4 FETCH car sharing is the “responsible” for processing your personal data as referred to in the Personal Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation.


1.5 The provision of your personal data is a prerequisite for being able to enter into an agreement for FETCH car sharing. This provision is not a statutory obligation, but FETCH car sharing may refuse to provide you with services if you have these not provide personal data.

This statement is subject to change. We will publish the most current version of this statement on the FETCH car sharing website.




2.1 Your name, surname, address, telephone number and e-mail address are processed in order to provide you with the following information identify, to keep in touch with you during the agreement for use of FETCH car sharing and to enter into, implement and enforce this Agreement.


2.2 Your age is used to determine whether you meet the minimum age requirement for use of FETCH car sharing (18 years).


2.3 Please upload photos of the front and back of your driving license (excluding your BSN or other national identification number) and a photo of yourself which are processed by us or an external service provider established and operating in the Netherlands, specializing in online verification of personal identity documents. This is intended to verify the authenticity and validity of your driving licence and your identity both at registration and when this is necessary after registration. With this permission to use your uploaded photos as described above you can not use our services because it is validation process is a necessary requirement for the execution of the service / contract.


2.4 If you have a non-Dutch driving license, we also ask you to upload a picture of your passport (with the exception of your national identification number) as an additional guarantee for establishing your identity.


2.5 We can use your driving licence number to periodically check the validity of your licence through our service provider as referred to in article. The date of issue of your driving licence is used to check whether you have had your driving licence for at least one year (which we require). We also use information from your driving licence (date of birth, date of issue, date of expiry and document number) in the membership agreement.


2.6 Your location will be used in the App to find the nearest FETCH car. The location of the FETCH car at the time of Check-out is used to determine whether the check-out has taken place within the permitted check-out area. The location of the FETCH is further used to send our service team or emergency services to the car if the situation so requires.


2.7 In the event of indications of an emergency or serious breaches of the contract (such astheft, vandalism, accidents or driving in areas where this is not necessary), FETCH car sharing can also determine the location of the FETCH car.

2.8 We process the amounts that you owe and paid for the use of FETCH car sharing for billing and collection purposes. Payment is made via payment providers, FETCH car sharing will not store your bank or store information in it’s database.


2.9 In order to determine the amount owed by you, certain data will be processed about your use of the FETCH car, in particular the duration and date of the use, the time of the beginning and end of this use and the distance travelled in kilometers.


2.10 Certain technical details about the use of the FETCH car are processed to improve the availability of the car for other users, problems, defects and necessity of maintenance of the FETCH car. In particular, we process whether the engine is on or off, whether the door is open or closed and locked, whether the vehicle is charging, odometer reading and the battery level.


2.11 We use your contact information as well as the frequency and type of use of our service to send you promotional messages about our products and services and/or those of partners (if the customer wishes to give their consent).


2.12 Some of your personal data may be used for quality and market research purposes. This includes, for example, statistical research into the use of our services, and use of your personal data to contact you for customer research questions.


2.13 In the event that a FETCH car has been involved in a violation of the law, criminal act or criminal offense, or that the agreement with FETCH car sharing has been broken, the personal data of the customer who hired the car in this situation can be used to report to the police or to recover damages suffered by FETCH car sharing.


2.14 The basis for the processing referred to under articles 2.1 -2.9 is the execution of the FETCH car sharing agreement. For the use of your photo is the specific basis, however, your consent, which we ask for before this use. The basis for the promotional purposes mentioned in articles 2.10 and 2.11 is your consent, which we ask for the completion of your application for FETCH car sharing. The basis for the purposes mentioned in article 2.12 is our legitimate interest in optimizing and improving our products and services. The basis for the purposes referred to in clause 2.13 is our legitimate interest in protecting the legal position of our company with regard to possible damages to be suffered.




3.1 FETCH car sharing will not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned in article 2.


3.2 Your personal data may be stored for a longer period of time if there is a legitimate reason for doing so. This can be, for example, to the extent that it is necessary to
comply with administrative and tax obligations, in particular your name, address and invoicing information. However, personal data may also be retained for a longer period of time if this is necessary for the preservation of evidence with which we can defend ourselves or enforce our rights. This may be, for example, in the event of (possible) claims or disputes, as well as if we have suspicions of fraud, swindle or misuse of your personal data (e.g. identity fraud). Also, if the person we see as a customer claims that there has been fraud, swindle or misuse of his personal data, we may retain the personal data for a longer period of time as evidence.



3.3 The provision of your personal data is a prerequisite for being able to conclude an agreement for FETCH car sharing. This provision is not a legal obligation, but FETCH car sharing may refuse to provide you with such services if you do not provide personal data.




4.1 When FETCH uses car sharing services of third parties in the execution of the agreement for FETCH car sharing (e.g. payment providers, vehicle transport and road towing and salvage services), FETCH car sharing may collect certain personal data from you to the extent necessary for the implementation of this Agreement.



5.1 The right to information. You have the right to know if and which personal data of yours are processed and for what purpose.


5.2 Right of inspection. You have the right to inspect and obtain copies of that information insofar as this does not harm the privacy of another party.


5.3 The right of correction and deletion. You have the right to correct, amend or delete data. The right to (partial) deletion of your data can only be fulfilled if the storage of the data is not of significant importance to another person and the data does not have to be stored on the basis of a statutory regulation;


5.4. The right of objection. In certain cases you have the right to object to the processing of your data.


5.5. The right to data portability. You have the right to receive personal data held on you and to transfer them to another organisation.


5.6. The right to a human view of automated decisions. In the case of an automated decision, you have the right to have the decision made by human intervention.




Should you wish to make use of these rights, please send an e-mail request to If your request is rejected, it will be substantiated. One reason may be that your file contains information that is or may be of interest to others. You will receive a message from FETCH car sharing within one month after receipt of your request.


Even if you have a complaint about the way in which your personal data is being processed, you can contact FETCH car sharing and FETCH car sharing will try to work it out with you.
