You can rent the car via the Fetch car sharing app on your smartphone by selecting an available car on the map. This will be held for you for a maximum of 15 minutes to reach the car. You pay from the moment you press the button ‘start use’.
You can rent 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Even a few minutes before you need the car, you can make a reservation. Use the Fetch car sharing app to make a reservation.
From 23 September 2019, in the new versions of our apps, you can reserve a Fetch car longer than the free 15 minutes you always get when you rent a Fetch. At a modest price, up to 48 hours. This works with reservation blocks. For example, reserving half an hour costs € 3.00. A day costs € 50.00. You never pay more than the reservation block in which your actual used reservation time falls. If you had reserved a day but used 20 minutes you pay € 3.00. Please note, if you cancel the paid reservation we will charge you a fee. You can easily save the reservation in your calendar and you will receive a message in your smartphone a quarter of an hour before the reservation expires. Reserving a Fetch with a starting time in the future, for example for tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, is not possible. Free reservations for 15 minutes can only be made one time per hour for a specific Fetch car / license plate number.

In the car you find a green or white/blue charging tag (drop shaped), attached to a large instruction card. Sometimes you find it in the boot of the car, in the storage compartment in the door or under the chair (sorry about that). Connect the cable according to the instructions and hold the charging drop against the charging pole according to the instructions on the charging pole. The car will charge and the charging station will turn to a blue light. You are obliged to charge the car if the battery level is below 30%. The next user will thank you for it!

The speed of loading depends on the available loading capacity on a charging station. On this page you can calculate your loading time in a handy interactive chart: https://www.renault.nl/elektrische-autos/zoe/batterij-opladen.html In Amsterdam most of the poles are 11 KW poles. At full speed, your battery will be full again in 4.5 hours from the moment it is completely empty at 11KW poles. However, depending on how many cars charge at the same time or even the time of day charging poles sometimes provide less power at and therefore take longer to charge. So always plan enough time for charging.
Yes, with the AC cable at Fastned, but although the ZOE charges very quickly at a regular charging station, the speed gain of charging at Fastned is less. See https://support.fastned.nl/hc/nl/articles/205695157-Laden-met-een-Renault-ZOE.
You may park in the drop zone in spots where a parking permit is required. You may also park in parking spots with electric chargers, make sure you do connect the charging cable, this is obligatory. And be careful, you are also responsible for parking fines after your rental period if you park incorrectly.
On other parking spaces like private property, blue zones, loading and unloading zones, parking spaces for disabled and taxi-zones you are not allowed to park. You are also not allowed to park in parking garages or other paid parking spaces if you want to end your rent.
It is not allowed to park in a place where time restrictions on parking bans apply, even if those restrictions only take effect after use of the Vehicle. Think, for example, of a parking ban that start the next day when there is a market at the parking lot.
